It's pitch black outside when I leave my 4:10pm class. Not dusk, not a little dim. Fully dark with the streetlights on, and the same jacket I was wearing at 3:55 does not do the trick anymore.
Today it hit me and I knew I needed to get to writing. I don’t have a real coat yet! I have been telling myself I’ll deal with it when it’s cold anndddd it’s cold now.
The good news is that my outfits are always better in the cold. Over the past few weeks I’ve been putting together a list of layering pieces, scarves, hats, gloves, all of it, and I cannot wait to share. But first, the most important part: the coat
The Zadig & Voltaire Freddie Faux Fur Coat
This curly faux fur coat in “dark chocolate” is so rich and cozy. You’ll look like you run a ski chalet and it’s currently marked down!
The Free People Satin Return Duster
Satin jacquard with a removable, fluffy Mongolian-inspired collar. Insane. The purple with floral motifs is so luxurious.
The Carelli Clement
This style of coat has taken over the fall/winter 2026 runways. So polished and delicate.
Sézane Manis Coat
This coat is much more practical and clean. I would reach for this every morning.
The COS Belted Wool-Blend Funnel-Neck Coat
I have been on the HUNT for a long wool coat to replace my Artizia Slouch Coat (oops). I still love it but it’s time for something new. This is so heavyweight with a chic collar to tie every look together.
The Urban Sophistication Fringes Jacket
Such a fun pick. It moves when you walk and wraps perfectly around a chunky sweater.
I cannot wait to see what you guys will pick! Stay tuned for scarves, hats, and more winter accessories coming soon!
Xoxo,
Annie
